bounce house rules

For the safety of all participants, the following rules must be followed at all times while the bounce house is in use.

Supervision

An adult eighteen (18) years of age or older must actively supervise the bounce house at all times while participants are using it.

Cousins Corner does not provide participant supervision or an attendant unless expressly agreed to in writing.

Participant Rules

All participants must follow posted safety instructions, manufacturer requirements, and directions provided by Cousins Corner.

  • Shoes must be removed before entering the bounce house.

  • Socks must be worn while using the bounce house.

  • Occupancy, age, size, and weight limitations must be followed at all times.

  • Participants should be grouped by similar age and size whenever reasonably possible.

  • Participants must enter and exit through the designated entrance only.

  • No flips, somersaults, wrestling, pushing, shoving, or rough play.

  • No climbing, sitting, or standing on inflatable walls.

  • No hanging from or pulling on netting.

  • No intentional misuse of the bounce house.

Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted inside the bounce house:

  • Food or beverages

  • Gum or candy

  • Toys or loose objects

  • Sharp objects

  • Face paint

  • Glitter or confetti

  • Silly string

  • Slime

  • Pets

  • Any item that may stain, puncture, damage, or interfere with the safe operation of the inflatable

Smoking, vaping, grills, fire pits, fireworks, candles, and other open flames are prohibited on or within ten (10) feet of the bounce house.

Weather & Unsafe Conditions

The bounce house must not be used when weather or site conditions make operation unsafe, including rain, thunderstorms, lightning, standing water, unsafe ground conditions, or wind speeds or gusts that exceed applicable manufacturer or safety requirements.

If unsafe conditions develop during the rental period, all participants must exit the bounce house immediately and use must stop.

The bounce house may not be used again until conditions are appropriate for safe operation in accordance with Cousins Corner's instructions and applicable equipment requirements.

Equipment & Blower

The Client, participants, guests, venue personnel, and other third parties may not move, relocate, deflate, disconnect, alter, or otherwise interfere with the bounce house, blower, anchoring system, electrical connections, or other related equipment without authorization from Cousins Corner.

If the bounce house begins to lose air, becomes unstable, shifts from its installed position, loses power, or otherwise appears unsafe, all participants must exit immediately and the Client must contact Cousins Corner.

Participants may not re-enter until the equipment is determined to be safe for continued use.

Client Responsibility

The Client is responsible for ensuring that all participants and guests comply with these rules throughout the rental period.

Cousins Corner reserves the right to suspend or terminate use of the bounce house when safety requirements are not followed or when continued operation creates an unsafe condition.

Failure to comply with applicable safety requirements may result in termination of the rental without refund, subject to the terms of the signed Rental Agreement.

All inflatable rentals are subject to the manufacturer’s requirements, applicable safety requirements, and the terms and conditions of the Rental Agreement signed during the booking process. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between this page and the signed Rental Agreement, the signed Rental Agreement shall govern.***
