adult supervision

An adult eighteen (18) years of age or older must actively supervise children at all times while rental equipment is in use.

Cousins Corner provides rental equipment, delivery, setup, and breakdown services but does not provide childcare, participant supervision, or event attendants unless expressly agreed to in writing.

The supervising adult is responsible for ensuring that all participants follow applicable safety rules and use the equipment appropriately.

Shoes Off, Socks On

Shoes must be removed before entering or using soft play equipment, ball pits, or other designated play areas. Socks must be worn at all times.

prohibited items

To protect our equipment and maintain a clean and safe play environment, the following are not permitted on or around rental equipment:

  • Shoes

  • Food or beverages

  • Gum or candy

  • Face paint

  • Glitter or confetti

  • Silly string

  • Slime

  • Sharp objects

  • Pets

  • Smoking or vaping materials

  • Any item that may stain, puncture, damage, or otherwise interfere with the safe use of the equipment

safe use requirements

All rental equipment must be used safely and only for its intended purpose. The following activities are prohibited:

  • Rough play or horseplay

  • Wrestling

  • Flips or somersaults

  • Pushing or shoving

  • Climbing, standing, or sitting on equipment walls or barriers not intended for climbing

  • Exceeding posted or communicated occupancy, age, size, or weight limitations

  • Moving or altering rental equipment

  • Intentional misuse of equipment

Any unsafe activity must be stopped immediately by the supervising adult.

inflatable safety

When inflatable equipment is included in a reservation, participants must follow all posted and communicated safety instructions, manufacturer requirements, and occupancy limitations.

Participants must:

  • Remove shoes before entering the inflatable

  • Follow all applicable occupancy, age, size, and weight restrictions

  • Be separated by similar age and size when appropriate for safe operation

  • Refrain from flips, wrestling, rough play, climbing or sitting on inflatable walls, and hanging from netting

  • Keep food, beverages, gum, sharp objects, toys, and other prohibited items outside of the inflatable

  • Enter and exit through the designated entrance only

  • Exit immediately when instructed by the supervising adult or a Cousins Corner team member

  • Stop using the inflatable immediately if unsafe weather or operating conditions develop

Inflatable equipment may not be operated when weather, wind, ground conditions, electrical conditions, or other circumstances make continued operation unsafe.

equipment responsibility

The Client is responsible for the rental equipment from the time setup is completed until the equipment is retrieved by Cousins Corner.

Rental equipment may not be moved, relocated, altered, deflated, disconnected, disassembled, or otherwise modified after installation without prior authorization from Cousins Corner.

The Client must promptly discontinue use and contact Cousins Corner if equipment becomes damaged, unstable, deflated, displaced, or otherwise appears unsafe.

Damage & cleaning

The Client may be responsible for excessive cleaning, damage, loss, theft, or misuse of rental equipment resulting from negligence, prohibited items, inadequate supervision, unauthorized movement, or failure to comply with applicable rental and safety requirements.

Reasonable cleaning, repair, or replacement charges may be assessed when applicable. Additional terms regarding damage, cleaning, and equipment responsibility are contained in the signed Rental Agreement.

photography & video

Cousins Corner may photograph or record the setup process and completed rental setup for portfolio, marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes.

We make reasonable efforts to focus photography and video on the equipment and completed setup rather than event guests. Children will not be identified by name without permission.

Clients may request that photographs or videos containing identifiable guests not be used for promotional purposes by notifying Cousins Corner prior to the event. This does not apply to photographs or videos of the rental equipment or completed setup that do not contain identifiable individuals.

Rental Agreement Controls
