weather monitoring

Weather conditions are closely monitored before and during outdoor events to help protect the safety of our clients, guests, staff, and rental equipment.

Clients are responsible for providing an appropriate and safe setup location. Weather conditions may affect whether equipment can be safely installed or remain in operation.

unsafe conditions

For safety reasons, rental equipment will not be installed, or use may be suspended or discontinued, when conditions are determined to be unsafe. Unsafe conditions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Rain or precipitation

  • Thunderstorms or lightning

  • Standing water or flooding

  • Snow or ice

  • Excessive heat

  • Wet, muddy, unstable, or otherwise unsafe ground conditions

  • Wind speeds or gusts exceeding applicable manufacturer or safety requirements

  • Severe weather watches or warning affecting the event area

  • Any other condition that Cousins Corner reasonably determines may create an unsafe environment for guests, staff, or equipment

All weather-related setup, installation, and operational decisions are made by Cousins Corner based on safety considerations, equipment requirements, manufacturer guidelines, and conditions at the event location.

If unsafe conditions develop during the rental period, use of the affected equipment must stop immediately. Equipment may not be used again unless and until Cousins Corner determines that conditions are appropriate for continued operation.

Cousins Corner reserves the right to delay setup, modify a setup, discontinue equipment use, or remove equipment when reasonably necessary for safety.

Outdoor Events

Clients are encouraged to have an appropriate indoor or covered backup location whenever possible.

If weather conditions are questionable leading up to an outdoor event, Cousins Corner will communicate with the client regarding available options. A client's decision to cancel, relocate, or otherwise change an event remains subject to the terms of the signed Rental Agreement.

rescheduling due to weather

If Cousins Corner determines that weather conditions prevent safe setup or operation, the reservation may be eligible for rescheduling, subject to availability and the terms of the signed Rental Agreement.

At Cousins Corner's discretion, a future event credit may be issued and applied toward an eligible new booking date within twelve (12) months of the original event date.

Refunds are not provided for weather-related cancellations, interruptions, or discontinued use except as expressly provided in the signed Rental Agreement or required by applicable law.
